  Riding Lessions

  

The goal of Rocky Top Ranch is to teach not only horsemanship and the fun of riding but also the care and safety of the horse.

Grooming, tacking, safety, feeding and becoming a team with the horse is the focus of our lessons.

All riders gain self-confidence, self-awareness and discipline while have a great time. 

This will result in ”future horse owner” having the needed knowledge to enjoy their horse and have the skills to advance to new levels such as showing, barrels, trail riding, etc..

LESSONS OFFERED

LEAD LINE – Ages 3 – 5  years old.

        Introducing the small child to the horse.

Parents participate by leading the horse

           giving security to the child.

The child learns to guide the horse

Grooming the horse helps bond

 Thirty minutes -  $25

 

GROUP LESSONS

        Riders of equal riding ability

          Games become part of the instruction

          Lasting friendships form

          Goals are set for each rider to accomplish

 

 

 

            Lessons charges;

                Semi private – 2 – 3 riders                                 $35/hr

                        Group with 4 – 6 riders                                      $30/hr

                        Private                                                                      $45 hr

 

        Lessons charges are paid at the first of each month.

            Helmets are provided if you do not have one.

            Permission slips are signed at first day.

            Parents may watch from benches provided.
